What better way to end a weekend in Northbridge (with a mild hangover) but with breakfast at Sayers Sister. We found this place on a beautiful Sunday morning, sat in the alfresco area outside swiftly followed by a warm greeting by the staff. The breakfast menu is extensive, but be warned, there is no big English breakfast. We ordered the bagel and the coquette and were not disappointed. Choose your time carefully as it does get busy and there was a long line of people outside waiting for a table. A good sign that the place is well-regarded.

We had breakfast at the cafe next door and noticed a larger crowd at Sayers Sisters. Later on, we decided to stop by for lunch and shared a flat white along with a Fried egg & bacon bagel, accompanied by tomato chutney and spinach & potato hash brown. Despite the slightly tough bacon, it complemented the other ingredients on the plate quite nicely.

No gluten-free sandwich options, only chia puddings and a paleo banana bread (that was too sweet to be enjoyed).

Coffees, hot chocolate, and chai were all right, service really busy and not very friendly.

Best coffee in the area

I come to Duotone almost daily as it is the best coffee in the area and the locals know it.

Sometimes there is one guy making the coffee that isn't so great so we get cold brew instead that day.

The food is a little expensive but I guess you'd expect that in the city.

It's a bustling busy shop and everyone serving there are friendly and welcoming!

Hands down the best coffee I have had in Perth. The milk and foam are perfect and silky. Even the cold coffee is amazing. I can't get enough of the Granola yoghurt with coffee, I've been here three times in the past 10 days. I wish I lived in the apartment building so I could come here every day.
