Really nice place to enjoy your coffee. The vibes of the place itself and the area are really good. It is located in a nice spot along the water. The only thing that I didn't understand is why they served some people and some others had to go to take themselves their order.
Nestled alongside the tranquil waters of Ghent, this café provides a delightful refuge for coffee lovers and remote workers alike. The inviting atmosphere is perfectly complemented by chic bike-themed decor and large windows that flood the space with natural light, making it an ideal spot to unwind or get some work done. Guests rave about the cozy, relaxing vibe that permeates the café, making it a go-to destination for leisurely afternoons or productive mornings.
Visitors frequently praise the quality of the coffee, noting that it stands out among the bustling coffee scene in Ghent. The café boasts a diverse menu, featuring options that appeal to various tastes, although some have expressed mixed feelings about the food offerings. While the toasties may not impress everyone, the homemade cakes and other pastries are considered a highlight. Whether you prefer to savor a cappuccino inside or enjoy the warm sun on the patio, this spot promises an enjoyable experience.
However, it’s worth noting that the café can become quite busy, especially on sunny days when the outdoor seating fills up quickly. Some customers have reported delays in service during peak times, which may detract from the experience for those in a hurry. Nevertheless, the friendly staff often go above and beyond to make up for any shortcomings, ensuring that each visit ends on a positive note. Overall, the combination of great coffee, an inviting atmosphere, and a picturesque location along the canal makes this café an excellent choice for anyone looking to relax, socialize, or dive into their work.
